This is Cacoteo Radio’s cultural commentary: radio memories, records and design language from a station with roots in Puerto Rico and a founder account dating its launch to 2007 in Central Florida.
The reported name Cocoteo FM sparked a comparison. The resemblance is documented; Rockstar’s intent, any inspiration, and any relationship with Cacoteo Radio have not been established. This series speaks in Cacoteo’s own voice.

DjTito’s account places his musical roots in the Loíza Underground scene. The archive keeps that firsthand history attributed to him.
The station’s founder dates Cacoteo’s launch to 2007. The chronology and independent records are documented separately.
Flyer, record-store and on-air cues inform the editorial series. They come from Cacoteo’s culture, without borrowing game logos or official visual identity.
