Cacoteo existed before this conversation.
Cacoteo’s history dates its station to 2007.[8] The more important distinction is the activity: programming, interviews, DJs and a public listening identity—not just a newly registered name.

Cacoteo’s recovered record includes a 2017 Now Playing announcement for Jon Z featuring Myke Towers. The original post address and a preserved screenshot now sit beside the account—not just a recollection.

DjTito places his musical roots in the 1990s Loíza Underground scene, growing up between Puerto Rico and California. His account includes turntables, Hip-Hop and Dancehall instrumentals, neighborhood microphone sessions, and later Florida events built through Puerto Rican connections.
He recalls collaborating with Tough Parties around Kissimmee and documenting performances involving Jowell y Randy and J Álvarez. Those experiences belong to the station’s cultural context; they are not presented as a connection to Rockstar.
DjTito is the long-term independent builder behind Cacoteo. DJs, artists and collaborators are part of that record; the station’s identity and editorial voice remain its own.

DjTito describes a bespoke station able to include original, uncensored recordings alongside underground selections and established releases. The aim is to let the music speak as the artist presented it, while giving emerging voices room alongside established names.

Cocoteo.FM is a Cacoteo-controlled entry into this Cacoteo Radio publication. That website relationship does not establish Rockstar’s creative intent. Cacoteo operated as a real online Reggaeton station before later licensing and compliance.
